Veterans Services

Military personnel do a great service to our country. That’s why we feel it’s important to honor the heroes who have served us and sacrificed for us. One way to honor our veterans is to provide them with the respectful end-of-life services that they deserve. We work with military families to plan memorial services that celebrate the life and service of our deceased veterans, however, your family prefers.

Benefits of Veterans Services

Military services are a way to honor our nation’s heroes, but they also have additional benefits. Our Nation’s flag is draped over the casket or placed next to the urn of your loved one. The Department of Veterans Affairs provides headstone markers or medallions at no cost. Your family will receive the Presidential Memorial Certificate signed by our current Commander in Chief.

Frequently Asked Questions

Basic Info

Why Cremation?

Cremation has become increasingly popular due to its affordability and flexibility involving funeral and memorial services. Traditional funeral services today have become so extremely expensive making them a less suitable option financially for the average family. You can even still plan ahead with cremation.

What options are available for final deposition of the body?

You can still have a traditional burial for your loved ones’ ashes, most cemeteries have plot sections for cremains. You can choose to take your loved ones’ remains home in an urn. Perhaps scattered in a place they loved to be at. Another option is a memorial tree. Be sure to consider all costs, benefits, and drawbacks when discussing final arrangements with your loved one.

Can we witness the cremation?

Yes, if you desire to witness you absolutely can especially if you feel it will give you peace of mind knowing your loved one’s remains were handled with care and dignity.

Should we purchase an urn?

This is entirely up to you. After cremation the remains are placed in a container, typically plastic or cardboard commonly referred to as a “temporary urn”. Most people want to honor their loved ones by purchasing a beautiful urn.

Can we prepay?

We usually don’t recommend paying ahead of time but as part of the pre-planning process you should set aside the costs in a savings account along with a will or written preference of what your loved one would want to go along with including keepsakes, photo displays, table decorations, flower arrangements, etc.

What is your payment policy?

To continue to offer our low cost, we require payment in full when services are rendered.
